Metro United Homeschool Soccer

Parent Code of Conduct

As a Metro United parent, I/we . . .

  • support that Metro United is founded on and guided by Christian principles as we seek to provide an excellent, competitive high school homeschool soccer program at a reasonable price that helps boys and girls become men and women of integrity and character who will lead, work hard, and practice good sportsmanship.

  • support and encourage my player, the coach, the team, and Metro United by valuing integrity, character, leadership, hard work, strong relationships, and good sportsmanship, regardless of my child’s playing time and win-loss record.

  • drop off and pick up my player(s) on time if they depend on me for rides and avoid scheduling activities that conflict with soccer.

  • speak and act respectfully when I interact with players, parents, coaches, referees, spectators, Metro United staff, and volunteers.

  • promote the player-coach relationship by supporting the coach’s instructions to my player, requiring my player to present his/her questions and problems directly to the coach, and refraining from “coaching from the sidelines.”

  • participate as required of a parent in the Metro United Player Safety Policy.

  • allow for accountability and take responsibility for my actions when I fail to live up to these standards.
