Tryouts will be from 10:00-11:30 am on all days.  On Monday, players should arrive 15-30 minutes early to sign in and receive pinnies.  You should wear your Metro gray practice jersey.   Friday, August 20th from 10:00-11:30 am is usually the first practice.  A parent meeting will held that week.

Tryout Format and Team Formation:

The four-day tryouts will be held in a training camp format with coaches teaching technical and tactical skills as well as evaluating players.  Team notification will be emailed on Wednesday or Thursday night.  Team training will continue on Friday at the same time at the same location.  Players who are not invited to a team or who choose not to play are finished after the Thursday session.  Teams will be assigned by skill without regard to age (i.e., older players can be assigned to lower teams, and seniors are not guaranteed a spot on the varsity team).

Season:
All practices are at Valley View Middle School (8900 Portland Ave, Bloomington) and occasionally at a field nearby.  Practices take place in the late afternoon.  Games are located throughout the metro area and outskirts.  Each team will have 2-5 total days of practices and games each week-varsity more, lower teams less.  Most games are in the after-school time frame, but some are in the evening, and some are on Saturdays.  The schedule will be posted on the website as it becomes available, but will not be locked in until games are confirmed in late August.
